Fundamental and applied climatology
General information
Scientific journal (4 issues per year), publishing original articles on processes and phenomena of regional and global scales on the following topics: formation of the Earth’s climate, natural and anthropogenic factors of change in the climate system, identification and attribution of trends in its state and corresponding risks for natural and
socio-economic systems, issues of mitigation and adaptation. Articles are also published on the results of monitoring the climate system and on significant events in the scientific world. Published by decision of the Federal Service for Hydrometeorology and Environmental Monitoring.
Articles are presented and published in Russian or English. It is also possible to publish translations of articles published earlier or in the current issue.
In articles published in Russian, a translation of the Abstract and Keywords into English, as well as a list of references in Latin, are given at the end of the article.
The date of publication of the article is the date of signing for publication of the entire issue, indicated on the back cover.

The journal is included in the LIST OF VAK peer-reviewed scientific publications in which the main scientific results of dissertations should be published competition for the scientific degree of Candidate of Sciences, for the scientific degree of Doctor of Science. All published articles are reviewed. On average, the period for reviewing articles with a single review is 4 months. Anonymous review is carried out by one or two reviewers from among the members the editorial board of the journal and external reviewers. All published articles are checked for plagiarism using https://www.antiplagiat.ru/, the results of which are documented and stored in the archive. The editors of the journal “Fundamental and Applied Climatology” recognize that the requirements of the “Code of Ethics for Scientific Publications”, developed and approved by the Committee on the Ethics of Scientific Publications, are mandatory for authors, reviewers, members of the editorial board and editorial staff to comply with, and also declare that there is no abuse of official position in the editorial activities.

“Ecological Monitoring and Modeling of Ecosystems” (“EMME”) is an ongoing peer-reviewed publication since 1976, since 2015 it has been transformed into a scientific journal with a publication frequency of 4 issues per year.
EMME publishes original articles: on the results of monitoring the state and pollution of the environment; on assessing the consequences of pollution for natural and socio-economic systems; on methods for assessing and predicting changes in the environment; on increasing the efficiency of monitoring the state and pollution of the environment; on modeling biogeochemical cycles of elements in ecosystems. In addition to original scientific research, EMME publishes review papers and information on important events in the scientific world in the field of environmental monitoring and ecosystem modeling, as well as discussion materials.
Since 2016, the journal has been included in the international information system for agriculture and related industries “Agricultural Research Information System” (“AGRIS”). A complete bibliographic description of all articles in the journal is presented in the Scientific Electronic Library elibrary.ru with the aim of forming the Russian Science Citation Index (RSCI). Full text issues of the magazine can be viewed here. According to the results of the public examination conducted by eLibrary, EMME was awarded the maximum rating of 4* – a journal of international level (worthy of inclusion in the Web of Science Core Collection).
Articles published in the journal “EMME” are taken into account by the Higher Attestation Commission as printed work when obtaining an academic title and defending dissertations, but the journal is not included in a separate list of refereed publications (HAC).
On average, the period for reviewing articles with a single review is 4 months.
Two-way anonymous reviewing is carried out by one or two reviewers, both from among the members of the journal’s editorial board and by external reviewers. All published articles are checked for plagiarism using https://www.antiplagiat.ru/, the results of which are documented and stored in the archive.
