1996 – present. National coordinator for the International Co-operative Programme on Integrated Monitoring (ICP IM) under the auspises of Convention on Long-range Transboundary Air Pollution (CLRTAP).

Area of expertise. Evaluation of the effects of climate change and anthropogenic pollution on  aquatic and terrestrial life, as well as on specially protected nature conservation areas.

Has published more than 100 scientific papers.
